Description of the Indicator
This indicator measures the number of evictions in the counties and the Commonwealth.
Why is it important?
The number of evictions can enhance awareness of housing stability and vulnerability. Populations most at risk for eviction include low-income women (especially women of color), domestic violence victims, and families with children. Understanding this indicator can aid in addressing problems associated with evictions, such as homelessness, educational disparities, unemployment, and poor health.
