This indicator measures deed transactions or transfers in the region and state. It covers commercial and residential transactions.
Why is it important?
This data helps identify the status and viability of the local real estate market, on both commercial and residential levels.
How is the region performing?
Deed transactions have yet to recover in the region. There was an uptick in 2020 and 2021, when the housing market took off during COVID, but declines in all geographies occurred in 2022 and again in 2023.
